Year 5/6 Town Sports
On Wednesday 15th June 25 Junior children represented Mowden at the Annual Darlington Primary Schools Town Sports, the first one since 2019!! After a fabulous day of athletics and great amounts of effort they put in a great overall team performance to finish in 3rd place overall in the Large Schools Competition. They performed particularly well on the track claiming several Gold Medals and several more podium places.

The children were a credit to the school, with every single one of them trying their hardest in all individual and team events.
3 children will be going on to represent Darlington at the upcoming Tees Valleys Athletics Competition.
